Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Kenya, Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Kenya showcased varying performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Easy Rout Map: Navigation Path saw its weekly downloads peak at approximately 9.1K by the end of August, following an upward trend from early July. Active users increased steadily from 15.8K in late June to over 23K by early September.

Live Earth Map: GPS Navigation experienced a significant surge in downloads, climbing to 6.6K in early September, before a sharp decline. Active users initially rose, peaking at 19.8K, but faced a downward trend towards the end of the quarter.

GPS Navigation & Map Direction maintained a consistent growth in downloads, reaching a high of 5.1K in early September. The active user base increased from 2.5K to over 6K by early September, followed by a slight decrease.

GPS Satellite Live Earth Map saw fluctuating download numbers, with a notable peak of 4K in early September. Active users grew from 9.2K to nearly 12.9K, showing a positive trend throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Driving Instructor-Theory Test experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 3.7K in late June to 1.6K by the end of September. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 20K throughout most of the quarter.
